Kate Ewing

Kate began practicing in 1984 as a self-taught jeweller. She studied at Fluxus Gallery, Dunedin from 1986 to 1988. She moved to Christchurch and set up Lynx jewellery gallery and workshop with another jeweller.

She left NZ in 1997 to study in Sydney. She graduated from Sydney College of Arts with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours), majoring in sculpture in 1999.

She now lives in Thames with a workshop in Martha St doing her unique casting method.
