Kay Van Dyk

Kay initially trained as an early childhood worker and spent several years working in that field. In 1994, whist living in London, Kay attended the London Guildhall University, learning siversmithing and jewellery. Upon her return to NZ she enrolled in the Visual Arts programme at Nelson Polytech from which she graduated (with distinction) in 1998.

Kay lives in Nelson with her son Nico. She shares a jewellery workshop in central Nelson and tutors jewellery/small metals on the Bachelor of Visual Arts course at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.
