Lisa Woods

Lisa trained in jewellery and design at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art and Central St Martins School of Art in London. She has exhibited in Europe and won several awards from the Goldsmiths Crafts Council, UK.

Lisa returned to New Zealand in 1994, where she continues to make works that she describes as “having a modern simplicity, but imbued with a lush tactile quality that one finds in pieces from antiquity”.
