Chris Killeen graduated from Otago School of Fine Art in 2000 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Contemporary jewellery.

During 2001 Chris worked at QUOIL workshop making a variety of pieces but decided to travel before settling. Since 2001 Chris has travelled through Asia and has been based back in Wellington for 3 years.

Chris enjoys digital and film photography, paints occasionally and creates everything from furniture to lighting.

The jewellery you see today is based around childhood memories and nostalgic ideas of New Zealand. With silver as a main medium, Chris is intrigued with the idea of jewellery as art and doesn’t necessarily agree that jewellery should be easy to wear. His goals are to keep developing his ideas and skills, continue making miniature sculpture never make the same thing twice.
