RESIZING OF RINGS
All the rings at QUOIL can be resized to any size or remade. If you order a ring from us we will size you in the gallery and get the ring made. If the fit is not right we'll return it to the jeweller until it is.
If you bought a ring as a gift and it needs resizing, ask the person to come into QUOIL and we will size them and get the ring resized or remade. Please come in before the "return by" date and return the ring in an unworn condition.
COMMISSIONS & ALTERATIONS
We are happy to ask one of the jewellers to make something for you that is similar to the jewellery they are already making. In the past we have been asked for different stones, different metals and different sizes.
CLEANING
There are several ways to keep your jewels looking their best. For all shiny silver jewellery the easiest is a silver cloth. Silver dip can also be used, read and follow the directions for a great result.
Any silver jewellery that has been oxidised (dark areas that are part of the design), just requires a quick rub with a silver cloth. Silver dip will remove the oxidising.
Any silver jewellery with stones, cloth, feathers, etc are better cleaned with a silver cloth, used only on the metal parts.
We also provide, free of charge, small pieces of Scotch Brite, which recreates a matt surface on the metal.
SENDING OUTSIDE NZ
We regularly send jewellery around the world using a signature-required, insured, track and trace courier service. Currently costs are NZ$30 to Australia, NZ$50 to the UK and USA and NZ$60 for all other countries. Courier will take between 3 and 5 working days.
